Ann Dougherty has been involved with community based non-profit organizations for the past 38 years. Much of her work has been with the YWCA. For 17 years, she served as Executive Director of the YWCA of San Gabriel Valley. Following that, as a Management Consultant, she worked as an Interim Executive Director for YWCAs throughout the country. She became a volunteer for SGVHFH, working on the Fund Development and Board Development Committees. In 2002, she became a Board Member and is currently Secretary of the Board. During two Executive Director vacancies, she served as the Interim Executive Director. Ann likes the way in which Habitat is able to make significant life changes for families. It is all about building more houses. She likes the challenge of working on many different things toward that end.
