Claus has been involved with San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity since January of this year and he is very excited about working with Habitat families and establishing financial goals and cost control measures for Habitat. Claus is a Certified Public Accountant in California and received his Bachelor of Science degree from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, California. He is currently a Senior Manager for the Pasadena CPA firm, Lucas, Horsfall, Murphy & Pindroh, LLP with over twelve years of experience in the accounting and auditing profession. He has specific industry expertise in the areas of not-for-profit entities, manufacturing, construction and contract auditing and he stays in the forefront in the accounting profession by participating in an oversight committee of the profession with the California State Board of Accountancy and as a member of various state committees for the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. He belongs to several professional associations which include The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and California Society of Certified Public accountants, as well as civic and business associations. He and his wife Nancy, who is a CFO in a multi-international company, live in Arcadia with their two children Nicole and Christian.
