Geneva Build
On March 5, 2011 we broke ground on our Geneva Build — the future site of five “green” townhomes in Glendale. We will begin hosting general volunteers in early May. Learn more about the build here.

Brush with Kindness
Our Brush with Kindness (BWK) program allows us to work with a broader demographic of lower-income individuals and families in the San Gabriel Valley, providing exterior repairs on existing homes. Through a partnership with the city of Temple City, we will have five BWK projects in Temple City and, through a partnership with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, we will be providing an additional family with exterior home repairs in Azusa. These projects will take place from October 2010 through March 2011 — and we need your help!
If you are interested in partnering with us in financial or material donations, or if you are a professional willing to donate your expertise pro bono, please contact our Construction Manager, Damien Allen, at construction@sgvhabitat.org.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Amy Borton, at volunteernow@sgvhabitat.org or 626-387-6899 x17. Volunteering at a BWK site is just like our full-home construction sites — we follow the same schedule, age requirements and safety guidelines. You can learn more about this here or by reading through our Construction FAQ document (PDF).
