San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity Announces Affordable Housing Opportunity in Pasadena, Two New Single-Family Homes.
Community Information Meetings for Prospective Homebuyers – October 5, 7, 12, and 14th.

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Habitat homeowner. We believe that everyone should have a safe, affordable place to call home. To carry out our vision, we partner with individuals and families from application through construction to when the keys are handed over. San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity is seeking low-income, first-time home buyers, currently experiencing inadequate housing who are willing to contribute a minimum of 500 hours of Sweat Equity in building their home and the homes of their future neighbors.

Attend one of four information meetings to learn about the key components of homeownership with Habitat for Humanity. There is no charge for attending. At the information meetings, individuals will learn about the key components of homeownership with Habitat for Humanity.

Habitat Information Meetings

Habitat representatives will explain all aspects of the application process. If your family needs long-term stability, we hope to see you at one of the information meetings!

WHY? Habitat homeowners are active participants in building a better home and future for themselves and their families. Habitat’s path to homeownership is an important and in-depth process, requiring hard work, time and dedication. Attendance is strongly recommended as qualifications for homeownership will be explained.

Application forms will be available at the end of each meeting and on our website.

Applications accepted 9 am October 13th to 5 pm November 6, 2017, only!

About San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity
Driven by the vision that everyone needs a decent place to live, San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity (SGV Habitat) began in 1990 under John “ACE” Cain’s visionary leadership as an independent affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Families and individuals partner with Habitat to build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners receive a hand up, not a handout, as they help build their own homes alongside volunteers. All Habitat homebuyers pay an affordable mortgage at zero percent interest. Through financial support, volunteering or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves.
